Rage / Quakecon 2008

Quakecon is under way and it showed some more of ID's new game called Rage, which will run on the latest tech5 engine made by ID.

It looks the game will be a combination of Doom (scary monsters and narrow corridors), Stalker ('free' roaming and mission based) and Death Rally (racing with weapons) in a Mad Max type of world.
Defo #1 on my list now (yes, even higher than SC2 and D3). Amazing gfx + design and gameplay sounds interesting too. And its an ID game after all.....

Bit disapointing imo, but maybe it wll alright gameplay wise. Wouldve cool if they used the tech5 engine tho.

There're some rumours of Doom4, but all I know is that they say it will have coop this time....
